Dark & Smoky Paloma Recipe

Dark Rum
A high seas twist on the Paloma — dark rum, fresh grapefruit, and a dash of mezcal for a touch of sea smoke.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Broken Plank Dark Rum
  • 2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • ½ oz fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz agave syrup
  • 1 oz smoked soda or smoked club soda
  • Garnish: grapefruit wedge or smoked salt rim (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Add dark rum, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and agave syrup to a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake well and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
  3. Top with smoked soda or smoked club soda for a hint of smokiness.
  4. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge or a smoked salt rim (optional).
